It's about time

I just got dental clearance, which means...I'm a Peace Corps invitee 100%.

Staging is apparently in Washington DC and not in Miami. Now I won't be going to Miami twice in a week. Somehow knowing the city where we will have orientation makes this whole thing seem more "real". I've never been to DC maybe we can get there early and go check out the White house or some really great art museum.

I guess I'll have to eat my last Cuban sandwich, last guarapo (sugar cane drink) and last batch pastelitos de guayaba (guava pastries) when I visit my mother and not during staging.

Ah, food.
